MXG Yachts, Alan Gulliver

Alan Gulliver

Director

Alan, born in New Forest on the South Coast of England, has always had a passion for the outdoors and the sea. With a background in Engineering and a degree in Business Studies, he initially gained valuable experience in the motor industry’s service sector.

However, seeking a new direction in life, he seized the opportunity to move to Spain and join the yachting industry 22 years ago, and has never looked back – enjoying the challenge of establishing and running his own Spanish yacht dealership since 2009.

Alan brings extensive expertise in sales, service support, logistics, and team management.


MXG Yachts, Andy McDougall

Andy McDougall

Director

After graduating from Birmingham University in Commerce and a successful career in the offshore oil exploration industry, Andy founded Mediterranean Yachts in 1987. Driven by his belief in Mallorca as a yachting hub and his passion for the sea, Mediterranean Yachts has since become one of the most established brokerage companies in Mallorca.

Andy has sold a large number of new and used luxury yachts over 30m in recent decades, with his largest new construction to date being 86m. As a Director of MXG Yachts, Andy combines his wealth of Superyacht business experience with his abilities in four languages, assisting valued clients to build their dream yacht.

Bobby McDougall

Sales and Marketing Consultant

Having spent his early years in Mallorca and many summers on his grandfather’s mallorquín Llaut, Bobby has always had a passion for the sea. After graduating from the University of Bristol in 2013 and working for a leading Ghanaian beverage distributor, he returned to Mallorca in 2016 to join Mediterranean Yachts and MXG’s Puerto Portals office.

Sam Gulliver

Sales and Marketing

Sam grew up on the south coasts of England and Spain and has spent his whole life in and around the sea –  swimming, scuba diving, surfing, and boating. He first worked on boats as a teenager, but joined the company properly in 2014 after graduating from the University of York and now has 10 years experience selling and marketing yachts and superyachts.
